I would be a little suspect, particularly with “Oyster Perpetual Date” font and size…
Haven’t seen much Subs but based on recollection they looked different than the ones in the picture.

Welcome. Best advice is buy the seller. Do they have a long history, trusted, impartial reviews, recommendations and are willing to help with a shop to visit and view.

This forum doesn't offer to validate authenticity I'm afraid.

I think this looks as it should, but fakes are VERY good this days, aka super clones. You actually have to loupe some of them to spot the finishing on the text, markers, hands and crown bevelling without opening the caseback.

Good luck.

Looks good to me.
Why do you have concerns?

Thanks, it's a private eBay sale and not sure the eBay authenticity check is worth anything!
Wanted to see if I missed anything obvious.
The sellers sold a few watches over the last few months and has a couple more up for sale.
Other pics show the serial number which matches the watch but sure that can be faked also!

Buy the seller, obviously.

Personally, I wouldn’t feel comfortable with the purchase until the back was removed and movement inspected by a trusted expert who was familiar with said movement and knew what they were looking for. This from personal experience with a similar type of sale from someone who had very good feedback; eventually the deal went bad. Make sure the opportunity to return is guaranteed. I believe this is the case with EBAY.

Probably worth linking to the listing.

This is a full set, even including the original sales receipt.

Hmmm, to be honest it looks off to me so I think it is a replica.
The bracelet just doesn’t look sharp enough IMO.
Definitely get it checked.

It looks off to me as well. I have this model and have spent a lot of time looking at it. Something in my subconscious said it didn’t look right.

The dial font, parts of the clasp and the engraving inside the clasp all immediately drew my eye.

Could just be the pics though so take it in somewhere as others said!!!

It’s fine. You can always send it in to Rolex, but it looks perfect to me.

The date font is suspect.

These days a picture isn’t enough to authenticate a watch, too many super clones out there

This. From the pictures I cannot see anything wrong with that Sub, but nowadays you need to have it checked in person.

Thanks for your help all.

They've now sent a picture of the purchase receipt, which lists the watch and serial number to card and watch.
(I also purchased a previous Rolex from this Ad and the receipt is correct)
