Is this real

Looking into an older Day date and I stumbled across this one on the internet lol. I do not think this is real especially the date magnification and the stamp on the back of the case. Looking to get thoughts on if I am wrong or if this is a laughable fake. If it is real, the watch would need a ton of work.

No buddy, it's a counterfeit. The gold wearing off it should be your first red flag. There's a marker fallen off the dial too.

I thought so too, I could not find an era where they used that engraving on the back of the case.

No, it's non existent. I think they just used every fake stamp they had in the box.

No, Rolex never stamped the outside like that, although they did stamp the insides of casebacks back before the Day Date was born..

There are a whole lot of things you would never see on a Day Date or any other Rolex here.

Not at all. The back engraving I've never seen on any DD. The bracelet could've be a replacement. Overall it doesn't look good.

I can't believe how many people are the offspring of watch fakers.

Well, it bears a striking resemblance to a watch. Beyond that,
