Pelagos 39 bezel action

Recent picked up a Pelagos 39 and really loving it.

I recently noticed that if you try to rotate the bezel more than one full revolution, it gets “stuck” once it comes back around to 12 o’clock? You can’t turn it again but it takes a bit more effort.

Has anyone else experienced this? Trying to figure out if this is a purposeful design or if something is wrong with my bezel.

I believe its by design and there is an additional bezel detent/stop at 12, so you can tell the bezel is at 12 by feel alone

This is the way it's designed. I think all dive watches should have this feature.

I just tried the same thing on mine and didn't have any "sticking" after 1-2 full revolutions at 12. But I will say overall that the more you use the bezel the smoother it gets. I've had mine for about 3 weeks and did feel a bit "sticky" overall the first couple of days.

Yes that is a nice and unexpected feature. Came across it on my first pelagos and has been present in some others although not in my fxd for some reason.

My original Black Bay (ETA Rose) also has slightly more resistance at the 12 position. You can hear the click-sound difference when it reaches 12, too. Not a lot, but enough that I can reset the bezel to 12 without looking at it.
