Which Rolex is this?
I have a friend who inherited this watch and I'm wondering what the value of it is naked? I can find a lot of watches that look similar to it on Chrono24, but the markers on this one looks smaller. Any idea what a good price would be?

Looks like a 1680/8 from the 70s
As for the markers, it's a so-called "nipple" dial.

You'll have to do the research on the price. The model number is on the case where the bracelet is attached. Looks like a 16808 with a nipple dial. If it's authentic, its quite valuable.

Search ebay sold items for an idea of price

Lots of comparable watches here:
https://www.chrono24.com/search/inde...ccessoryTypes= If you're in LA, take the watch to the RSC in Beverly Hills and have them quote for a service - as part of the quote process, they'll do a quick authenticity check for you (don't mention that, just ask for the service quote) |

Depends on how not authentic is it - wife's vintage AirKing was returned with a 'won't service it' because the dial was repainted (unbeknownst to me). If it's stolen they'll obviously hang onto it.
