Icon19 Sub 41 on a 6.1" wrist. Too big?

My wrist is rather small (6.1") and I currently own an Expl.36 - 124270 which fits me well. I am thinking of adding the Sub 41, but I am reluctant to do so because I feel it will look and wear quite large.
If you have a similar wrist size and the latest Sub, please share your thoughts and your wrist shots. Thanks in advance!

size is subjective. It's about how you rock it. Example: https://www.instagram.com/14270roleko/

You will see her wearing a pepsi.

My petite wife with a 5 3/4 wrist wears my Sub and has 2 41mm Tudors. Wear and enjoy.

Watches are not made for a certain range of wrist sizes. If you want it, buy it.

Here is what the 114060 looks like on Andrea's 5.75" wrist.

It does look like an oversize watch, to me but apparently thats a "thing".

I like it though ... for me it's like a beautiful women driving a jeep or pick up truck.

We all have our "thing" I guess

I agree. I like 40mm watches on women. Especially Subs.

Looks great on Andrea! Totally agree with your jeep/truck statement, I'll also include 3 pedal manual to that list.

The ladies can pull off oversized watches easily... but they can look odd on men.

Exactly. In certain situations a woman can also look great when she's wearing a guy's shirt. But a guy wearing a shirt way too big for him is not the same.

OP, only you can decide whether a watch is right for you, but you may find that a five digit reference is better on your wrist. And more comfortable. The clasp of the 41mm is very large.

Sub 41 on a 6.1" wrist. Too big?

I sort of agree. Attractive women can make anything look good.

However, if a guy with 6” wrists tries to wear a Submariner, then its’s highly debatable at best.

I think she’s wearing sd4k?
Good looking on her anyway.
I feel like women can get away with wearing watches that are overly large for their wrist size, whereas it looks sillier imo on men.

Upon further inspection looks like sd43.

Good eye

I should’ve seen the cyclops but that picture isn’t the best and she rarely wears it. She does daily the 114060 tho

One thing I don't hear people talk enough about is forearm size. People focus only on wrist but if you have a small wrist and large forearms in comparison then you can wear a bigger watch fine.

Personally, I don't care what I'm wearing or how big / small a watch is. If I like it and want to wear it then so be it.

I think if you're 6'+ tall with smaller wrists you can get away with it too more than a shorter person. Am debating this question myself about a possible 16610 Sub, I currently have an Exp. II 16570 but find the GMT function fairly useless and have always wanted a Sub, 6.75" wrist.

Wear what you like!!!

The good news for those of us waiting on a 41, women’s fashions change like the seasons.

Soon enough, it will be “dated” for women to wear large watches. So “2022 or 2023” they will say.

More availability for the rest of us.

I only have one rule and that is if the lugs overhang my wrist, it’s too big. Each to their own, but I think a watch that looks too big is way way worse than a watch that looks small.

Definitely this...

I think the Submariner will be too big for OP's wrist size.
