16750 - any obvious issues?

From ~1982. Maybe date wheel replaced?

seriously?

Out of those pictures, your concern is the datewheel?

and not the moisture ridden corroded hands? the pimply dial that could flake off in time? the dark uneven lume plots likely to also be due to water intrusion? the more than likely aftermarket crystal?

.....

Didn’t meant to offend. Everything at a price, no? To me, the point of a watch like this is it’s completely weathered - the attractiveness is how beat up it is. That said, unoriginal parts or anything that could break I agree a major concern

Are there any issues besides the date wheel? Boy, that's a tough one for sure.

Besides all the corrosion, damage to the dial and aftermarket crystal, I don't think so.

Besides the dial having zits it looks damaged, perhaps corroded, around the edge between 4 & 6.

I get it. I have a nice set of UG hands, now I’m on the hunt for a dial, Case, movement, subdial hands, and bracelet.

I like the watch and see what the attraction would be... as you said everything has a price.

Not sure I agree everything has a price, unless you're parting out a watch to sell the bits and pieces and you can make a profit that way.

If you're buying a watch to wear and enjoy, and perhaps have it increase in value in the years ahead, there are some watches that I wouldn't touch at any price. This GMT is one of them. For starters, it's ugly and I wouldn't want it on my wrist. I get the worn vintage look, shabby chic and all that. But there are limits.

You're going to need to build a Milgauss 1019 around those hour and minute hands.
