Building a new SOTC. What would you select from these?

Rebooting my collection by selling a few pieces leaving funds open to select three watches. What combo would you select from the following (prices are roughly equal) and why?

1). Modern Pepsi + Snoopy 50th + Submariner

2). Batgirl + Snoopy 50th + Zenith Chronomaster Original Hodinkee

3). Snoopy + Ed White 321 + Submariner

4). Snoopy + VC Overseas (white, blue out of budget) + Submariner

5). Pepsi + VC Overseas white + Submariner

Feel free to rearrange to form your group of 3 if prices are in the same pincode. Cheers.

If you have the Sub and Pepsi as the core, any 3rd watch would be okay imo.

Not on your list but I highly recommend this combo.

Out of all my watches these are by far the most worn and enjoyed.

You don't say which submariner though, if a 5513 then I'd add that instead of the batgirl.

Number 5 because it doesn’t come with a cartoon character on the dial.

Yeah, I know, I must be a lot of fun at parties…

Clearly, based on what I glean from the selections you prepared there has to be one Rolex turning bezel and one Speedmaster. I respect that. Let’s make that an Ed White and a Pepsi. Add something gold on a strap as the third. A Cartier or if the budget allows a Vacheron/Lange. If you need to save somewhere to make that happen, compromise on the Speedy, the regular 3861 is also a fantastic watch, if you can get a golden VC with a 4400 movement or a nice Lange Saxonia with the savings of taking that over an Ed White I‘d do that any day of the week. Same with a BLNR over a BLRO.

In any event, I’d encourage some diversity. How boring is an all steel all bracelet all black dial all industrial grade lineup?

This trumps all 5 combos imo.

BUT, if we’re only picking from your suggestions then:

5). Pepsi + VC Overseas white + Submariner
