Trading in your Rolex for A Car or Land?

I know it seems crazy but Im sure some here has done some barter trading with their rolex

I could see trading a platinum rolex for a vintage muscle muscle car or a porsche

Any cool stories ?

Someone did post about using their steel Daytona for a down payment on a Porsche. I heard worse ideas!

Given the madness on value and investment, I think it could be the other way around for the last 4-5 years.

Why not? Makes sense.

Just have to find the right formula and seller.

Oh yeah! That would be me! Sold my 116710LN and got myself a project Range Rover L322. The watch paid for the car, insurance, service and a full tank of gas plus snack+coffee Happy days!

I would think long term, watches are a better hold than most cars which depreciate rapidly as you put miles on them. Land is always a good buy at the right price regardless of how you fund the purchase price.

I'd trade one of my watches in a heartbeat for land, that's a no brainer.

Cars, along with watches are just things...land is an investment.

I'd let one go for the right Gibson Les Paul.... and vice versa.
