What: Dallas GTG
When: Saturday, September 5th, 2009
Where: Dallas Galleria - Westin hotel lobby > Bachendorf's > Oceanaire
Time: 5 PM CST - ?

It's official, I am organizing the Dallas GTG so don't let me down guys. Bachendorf's is working on getting catalogs and possibly some other goodies for those who attend.

Here's the plan, we will meet in the hotel lobby at the Westin Hotel at the Dallas Galleria around 5 PM CST. Then we will head over to Bachendorf's to do some viewing around 5:30 PM. And then the plan is to have dinner at the Oceanaire at 6:30 PM. You are responsible for your own dinner tab.

I need to know who is coming and if they are bringing someone so I can make reservations at the Oceanaire. I'll bring my camera to take pictures so lets have a good showing.

If there is a particular Rolex model you would like to see, let me know and I'll try to get Bachendorf's to make it available in case anyone decides to make a purchase.

Truthfully, I'm just glad that she lets me blow the budget every now and then!

I stopped by Bachendorf's today to talk to Collette Foreman, she is the one helping me with the event, and she said everything is set for Saturday evening. She has informed me that her Rolex rep has provided some goodies that she will be giving out at dinner.

I was excited when she told me what the items are, but I won't ruin the surprise. Unfortunately she only has 10 bags so it will be given to each individual/couple. Please PM your real name so the bags can be labeled.

As far as wearing a Rolex... well...don't have one. I've never really been a really big Rolex fan so...

Every time I had one, I sold it after a few months.

Collette Foreman was an outstanding guide to a a selection of several hundred Rolex watches, I hope the opportunity to work with her in the near future materializes.

Nice pics Vu! A very memorable experience. It was nice to meet some of the forum members, see some nice time pieces, and have a nice dinner. Oceanaire was great as always. We've definitely got to do it again!
