Which watch to wear?

I'm going to a cookout. It os not a dressy affair. I'll be wearing shorts, sneakers
and a t shirt. Help me pick the watch to wear please.

Which Watch

The second one seems most fitting to me. I’m still getting coaching from my watch brothern on what fits for what occasions. I got comfortable wearing sports watches with suits, but have recently upgraded to a pair of Panerai. Now when I suit up I see it for what it is.

EdM1 - New collector figuring it out. Let us know what you went with.

Hope this cookout is scheduled months from now cause we still need to come to a consensus on your shirt, shorts, & shoes.

Thank you everyone for helping to confuse me further..lol. I had a good chuckle reading some of the answers and am still a bit torn as to what to wear but it will probably be the sub. Yes, a gold sub is flashy but it is more sporty and less formal than the DJ although. When those diamonds on the DJ dial hit sunlight, they sure do sparkle. And i've been wearing the DJ almost all week since I only aquired it last tuesday.

Depending on how well you know people at cookout, I probably wouldn’t wear either unless I was really familiar with them. Full gold sub or Diamond DJ?

That's how I would lean but I'm a great believer in encouraging people to think for themselves. Your watch, your choice.

Of those 2 definitely the Sub, but I think you might need a SS piece for this exact reason. IMHO

Either one if it’s in Tony Sopranos back yard.
