Green dial Santos release?

Anyone know when the Green Dial Santos is set to release in the US? It looks like the UK ADs are already claiming to have them in-stock, but I don't see the same in the US.

My local boutique manager told me he expected them in June. But, when I went to the flagship boutique in Paris last month, they said that they don't think they'll be in wide releae before July.

I wonder how the UK stores have them.

Yeah crazy price of $8500. I assume the medium will be the same price as the white dial, which I paid $5200 + I got 7 additional Delug straps. Crazy to pay retail or above for a Santos.

I saw them here in Dallas two weeks ago. I was very tempted by the green, but I don't think the green really matches the press release renderings. It's very dark, and smudges on the crystal really pop against that dial.

It has been released. I just posted some pics from this weekend.

I received mine last week. It is really nice, and the contrast between the dial and the indices is actually quite legible. I've also seen them at several ADs now in the cases. The dial is significantly darker/less "emerald" than I had thought it would be.

I tried on the medium size green dial Santos this weekend at my local boutique. It's very handsome. If they had the large size in stock I might have been very tempted to get it.

I saw one pop up on the gray market yesterday at retail. It seems to be in wider release than what boutiques have intimated.

Thanks Michelle! In the photo it definitely looks like a good size on me. However, when I was wearing it in the boutique, the bracelet looked and felt too narrow and the dial seemed a bit small to my eye...but it could be because I've had the large blue dial steel model for almost 4 years.

I agree! I think this is the nicest green dial watch I've seen in a long time.

Still think the Blue PVD bezel santos is the best in years. Just wish it came in a Medium size.

Hope they do green pvd for this release
