True for any of those. I have a strong appreciation for the Daytona so I cover most of that territory in your options.

I have #2 & 3 hoping to add WG 100th anniversary. I do believe a collector should have 1 of each.

I enjoy wearing them dressed up or down

All 3 as 1 is simply not enough. Some would argue 2 of each.

whichever you want, OP

OF isn't my favorite. I don't love Rubber straps, in general. If i were to choose one, it would be a Patek Aquanaut, i think.

I continue to search for the right full gold Daytona; haven't found it yet.

Any Daytona is a “must” if you are into checking boxes.

Panda SS is a must, then get a gold Daytona if you need to. In my opinion in a Respectable collection you need the three Rolex steel sports icons. Panda chrono, Pepsi GMT , Hulk diver. Because you asked about the Panda I mentioned the equivalents, but at least any Diver like SD43, GMT like Batman, Chrono black from Rolex at minimum for a complete collection in my opinion.

None are a must.

If you’re only going to have one i would want a gold one. Whether that be white or yellow.

None, but I might go Zenith if I had to. Certainly not PM and even less OF if only one.

There isn’t a must unless you like smaller unisex size watches
Personally too small for me, I’ve bought because of having to have a Daytona but soon sold as it’s simply too feminine for my taste

No “musts” in a collection, but I realize what you’re saying. If you’re checking that box off though…I don’t think it matters….a Daytona in the collection is a Daytona in the collection. At least that’s my philosophy

My collection doesn't require a Chrono, so I guess I don't need a Daytona.

Also, now I realise my collection is not respectable because I don't own or want a Daytona.

Every day is a school day I suppose...

what a load of old rubbish!

You are just listing out a who's who of 'hot Instagram' Rolex collections, in the real world it doesn't have to be like that.

Some collectors have no need for a BLRO, Daytona or an LV Sub. If someone owns an OP, a Cellini and a DJ, that is every bit as much of a Rolex collection than the hot models you have mentioned.

I have way more respect for someone who has worked out what watches they ACTUALLY want and need, rather than someone who is checking boxes because social media says these are the watches 'you must own' to have 'complete collection'.

If you want to impress others, then apparently a Daytona is absolutely VITAL. But if it's for yourself, then it's only a must if you actually like it.

Personally I've never liked the Daytona that much (for various reasons), although I do like the new 126500, so I'd say that's the one to get....but I'd go with the black dial instead of the white.

I genuinely prefer the black, which is just as well anyway as the white is always the default choice for so many.

Funny, I just find them sort of boring. So many more interesting examples, imho.

I’m of the same opinion. I love the Daytona on other people, but on me, it looks like a women’s watch.
