Rolex Day-Date 18038 with caliber 3035?
Does anyone know why there are some Rolex Day-Date 18038 watches with the calibre 3035? Like this one on eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/28533433751...mis&media=COPY Were they originally produced that way by Rolex or are they modified (frankeinwatch)? |

Aftermarket dial and modified movement.
Rolex would not have produced either of them as shown. Run away fast!

The misalignment of the day disk alone would be enough to make me question condition (obvious issues) and authenticity even without the calibre mismatch.

My guess is that all 30xx-series movements have interchangeable automatic device bridges and whoever serviced that only had one marked 3035.

Second the last post. 3035 and 3055 bridges are interchangable. Basically the entire movements on the bottom side is the same between the 3035 and 3055. So it's very conceivable that the bridges were replaced.
Now as far as the original of the dial, that's a different story. Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
