Got the call for a Bluesy; another trade consideration.

I got the call —when I least expected it— for a 126613LB, one of my grails and an all-time favorite.

To make it work (because I got married this year) I’ll need to trade one or more of these:

I’m leaning towards trading the DJ41 and the white SMP300. Possibly the Speedmaster (only one for which I have the box, no papers).

Will not part with the BLNR or IWC.

I never wear the Speedmaster because I can’t get it to fit comfortably.

The Omega PO I got at cost and is worth more than I paid, but it was my first real mechanic watch and has sentimental value to me.

Explorer is pretty scratched up, it’s been my beater, value has dropped like a rock since the 40mm came out.

Thoughts please?

Nice collection. Congrats on the Bluesy! If it were me I would keep a white dial in the collection. I like the white Seamaster. Pick one of the two and get rid of along with one of the black omegas. Continue to daily the explorer.

I’d ditch the Explorer and the SMP300

Sell Speedy and SMP300. They are easy to replace later, if you want them again.

Speedmaster and Explorer would be going if it were me.

Speedmaster = never worn, not comfortable

Explorer = what does it do better than the DJ? It just seems kind of redundant, but at least the DJ has a date complication

The question is how much are you trying to raise - that would help us help you. I personally love a two tone sub!

I'd go with your initial instinct. Sell the DJ and Speedmaster.
Congrats on getting the call!

Congratulations in advance

Always good to buy before selling off others IMO. Take your time with the decision

Congratulations. I would move out of the Omega watches as they can easily be replaced if you should desire in the future.

I wouldn’t sell any of the Rolex. And I’d keep the SMP. So goodbye to PO, Speedy and IWC.

IWC would be outta there, as would the SMP 300 (and I own one). Reason: SMP 300 is easily replaceable again when funds allow.

I would get rid of the explorer or DJ since it's a bit redundant and you'll be able to get a good return. I would then get rid of the Speedmaster and / or the SMP300.

I agree with others. The Speedmaster and Seamaster are the most easily replaceable. I'd let them go especially if you're not wearing the Speedmaster.

I love my Seamaster and it's probably my most worn watch - but they're very easily found again for good prices.

I'd also ditch the Explorer too.

Bye Omegas. I’d personally keeps the Speedmaster but you seem not to wear it, so let it go.

I’ll move the Omegas.

Possibly keep the Omega with sentimental value and move the DJ41 in its place.

DISCLAIMER: But I may be biased. Not particularly fond of Roman numerals.

And you could upgrade to the 3861 Speedy if/when that day comes.

I agree with this sentiment. As well as that I wouldn’t pry with both white dial watches you have. You’ll miss one or want it back, out of the two white dialed models I would let the Omega go.

I agree with some others, keep the SMP with that nice white dial. Ditch the other two Omegas. If it were me, I'd sell the IWC as well, but you seem to really like it, so that's cool. No reason to move any of your Rolex.
