How much was your service? (Rolex)

I visited the AD to purchase an another watch today,
while I was there, I inquired about a full service on a Rolex.

They told me, a full overhaul will cost me an estimate of $1100.
They told me that in order to know the exact price, I would need to bring the watch in and would take about 4 weeks, but when I heard $1100, I thought it was kinda absurd..?
Given the fact that the cost of the watch MSRP is like 6k-7k.

How much have you paid for your Rolex service?

I received this Rolex datejust when my grandpa passed away. It runs nicely, but wanted to give a full service before I start wearing it -- I assume the last service on the watch is well over a decade ago.
