Here is a card to a 39mm , I have you can see that the dial color/type is clearly marked.

This really only way one can know for sure, as far as I know.

Why are you worried about it? If it’s brand new, of course it’s original.
The full model number, which is on the white hang tag (the numbers after the dash) denote the specific color. The model number of the green 36 mm OP is 126000-0005. I have the silver dial. My model number is 126000-0001. If bought from an AD, or reputable grey dealer, you should have no worries.The newer green warranty card no longer shows the color, or even the code for it. When the warranty is registered with Rolex, they will know what color dial was originally on a specific watch, based on its serial number. I hope this helps.

If from a reputable auction house, you should be fine. Their merchandise should have already been authenticated. If comes with box and docs, you will know by the hang tag, if dial is correct. It certainly looks fine, if that’s the actual pic. If you have a reason to suspect something’s fishy, pass on it. I know your frustration. No one could have predicted the demand for these new OPs. I waited over a year for mine, from an AD. They do seem to be more available lately. You may want to try to wait for your AD, especially if the price is too high. If no box and docs, pass!

Bingo. White hang tag is a must, and 126000-0005 is the code for the 36mm OP in green color way.

Can't the white tag be faked? I don't put a lot of faith in a plastic white tag because of this. I think the only way to know for sure that your OP has that actual dial is to send it to RSC. Perhaps I am wrong.

Correct, the plastic stuff is the easiest to make. Rolex should be able to tell anyone how the watch was configured from the factory with the serial #.

I think the OP thought this exact model had been discontinued, by Rolex, and therefore must be a fake dial. In fact, it is the yellow and red coral dials that are no longer available. Hence, his hesitation to bid. Auctions, even eBay, authenticates expensive watches. I don’t think he has any cause for alarm. Also, the green OP should be readily available from a trusted grey dealer.

Current US retail price is $6400. I think that’s a great deal, would not pay more from a reseller. Maybe, just maybe, if the total was around MSRP plus tax.

Are you on a list, at an AD? I waited over a year for my silver dial 36, which IMO, is a nicer dial. However, we are all different, and the green is very nice. In fact, next up, for me, is the mint green DJ, or blue motif dial.

Just go to the Rolex website, and you will see it is still a choice, when you use the Configurator. As I already told you, the yellow and coral red are not! They are the colors that are no longer available.

Kat, great information, I was unaware that the cards had changed since the one I showed earlier of 114300.

I bought a 126000 Tiffany in February and the hang tag shows 0006 .

The coral and yellow seem to be coming down in price and I may try to buy one. SInce these are discontinued , I will need to stop by my AD and see if they can tell me the codes.

I had a 41 in silver like yours but it wore too big on me so I sold it. But I adored the dial
