Shopping for Daytona, quick question

while searching through 1000's of listings, Ive found that the 116523 is the most reasonable priced Daytona that I can find, what is the difference in this watch that makes it such a price difference between others.

Two-toned Rolex watches never hold their value like solid colors do.

Simple, two-tone is less desirable.

I personally love them though.

You should be able to buy the 2 tone at an ad without much difficulty

I have a 116503 which is two-tone and I love it.

The 116523 is the previous generation to mine. I think the last ones were made around 2016 or so?

Wife got the 116503 White dial from AD a year ago; it's her favorite.

None hold their value when bought from grey... even 116500's dropped and might drop more

Buy whatever you like, it won't matter much about "value". you will loose either way when selling.

I suggest you buying 116503 for $19K max, not more. Or 523 if way under that.

i have a deal pending on a 116523 for $17500 out the door, complete with box and papers and just services this month. It seems fair compared to what I am finding

I'd recommend collecting two tone vs steel if prices are same. Generally steel is better value at MSRP and two-tone is the better value pre-owned.
