Consensus about what aspect? They’re fantastic watches. Nothing more to it. All this “hype” stuff is getting old, which is a good thing.

Each of the models you list have a few very different model numbers.

Daytonas look a little small on me personally, but they are really great looking watches.
My wife doesn’t like the green on the LV sub Would love a BLRO or an SS sky dweller eventually. These are all popular for a reason; some of the best sports and professional Rolexes in the catalogue. |

Best looking Rolex sport watch is the Rootbeer, in this girl’s opinion.

Sky Dweller does nothing for me .. the rest I’d have in a heart beat ..
VTNR is by far the best, and everyone knows it …

2) GMT Pepsi: I don't like setting the date on it. It's also too flashy for me. 3) Green bezel Submariner: great watch; prefer the bluesy which I own. 4) Sky-Dweller: Owned the blue; it was too large for me. Setting it required retraining each time I wore it in rotation. Too much work and too big for me. It would be great as an only or primary watch if it weren't so large. Brett, since you asked why not say what you think about the watches? Good to see you post. |

I've had a 126610LN for over 18 months now, love it, don't care about hype, and don't think any of them are worth more than MSRP.

Yeah, they’re all great watches. Do I think instagram and social media have made people want them more? Yes. Am I buying them for hype? No. The one that I want is the Daytona and I’ve wanted it for many years. Now I’m planning to add one for a milestone, not because it’s cool.

Hottest watch is the one you want to see on your wrist and like wearing it. Personally not into the hype about certain models

None of those watches are easily obtainable except at ridiculously overpriced secondary market prices.
The Skydweller is the only one that I care for, out of that list.

A lot of great comments - I was also looking for comments regarding member’s opinions of current “trending” watches.

All pretty boring pieces imo
They are of no horological interest at all (except maybe the Sky Dweller), watches purely aimed at people that want a Rolex because they mistakenly think it’s the best watch maker in the world
