116500LN Panda on Rubber B strap

Finally got my grail watch and i want to put it on a rubber strap. I purchased the smarty end links but can’t get a hold of an oysterflex so I thought of buying a rubber B strap. Which rubber B strap would I need to buy to make it work with the smarty end links on my Daytona?

Rubber B straps do not require the smarty end links

You can buy any of the straps on their site, under daytona, and then under the model you have

Solo is correct.

Even Kevin O’Leary used Rubber B straps on his 116500. No end links required, they integrate with the case so you don’t end links for a flush fit.

I don’t like how it looks when the rubber strap goes directly against the case, that’s why I purchased the end links to get the same look as a 116519 LN.

unless you get the rubberized "gator" or swim skin straps. Those work perfectly with the end links.

That said, for gull integrated rubber I prefer everest.

Yes they can… kind of.

So RSC will swap out straps if they don’t fit correctly (likely for free) but they take the originals.

Only other option would be to bring the watch case only into RSC and tell them you don’t have the straps and would like to buy them. There’s not much they can do but sell you the straps for the watch, however they will ask you directly what happened to them.

Alternatively if you’re friend bought the watch directly from and AD it likely means they have a good relationship and they might be willing to order the parts for him. He’d just have to call and ask.

If you can’t score some genuine Oysterflex halves, any aftermarket strap with regular (not form fitting) ends can use your endlinks. Strapsco sells some rubber ones that are similar to Oysterflex, you can use your endlinks and clasp on those.

These look so pretty on rubberB or oysterflex. They are very light, so it seems to work well and still feel balanced.

RSC sold me a proper fitting single side for my 116519LN. Was hoping they’d trade it in a do a free swap since it was brand new, but they said no. They sold me the exact strap that I needed that fit the guidelines from their measuring tape on my wrist. They wouldn’t sell me any other size i requested just what was required to fit my wrist. I was trying to do a special arrangement of stapes to have the clap sit differently.
Unless your friend has exactly the same wrist size as you it’ll be hard for him to get you your straps from RSC

Dealers will get you whatever you want easy. If you are their good customer.
The dealer was going to switch my strap for the correct size for free but I wanted to get it sooner from RSC since I can go in person. RSC has everything in stock pretty much.

Yup. For me endlinks > fitted rubber > air gap.

Original clasp is used. Can't remember exactly where I purchased, but many can be found on places like Strapsco, Etsy, Aliexpress etc.

With end link is great, plus now you can use a wide variety of rubber and leather straps. For GMT and Sub going Rubber / Everest direct looks better to me, yet on the 'tona i feel the end links give a more classy visual (and leather strap options). jmho

I’ve got one of the Strapsco fitted rubber straps I haven’t used yet on my OP. It comes with a generic fliplock clasp that is actually pretty stout or you can use your own. The strap quality is good too for around $60.
I’m not surprised that a Rolex Oysterflex “bracelet” costs almost $600 but the various aftermarket $300 rubber straps give me pause.
