Recent Daytona Prices in Tokyo

Stopping by Tokyo next month and considering picking up a Daytona 116500LN Panda at Nakano Broadway.

Anyone in town or been there recently with pics on some recent prices?

Thanks

I travel to Japan often and the best prices I’ve seen in Nakano broadway are at Kame Kichi. Was there in May this year. I also realise the prices will vary, so do shop around. They don’t take Amex, only Mastercard or visa.

I don't know if Nakano Broadway perse is the best place to shop. I found the best options in Ginza, Shinjuku and Shinsaibashi (Osaka). Watchnian, Okura, Allu, Ginza Raisin, those are my favourites. Some of them look even better than watch boutiques. And yes, you can buy tax free in almost all shops, so prices are even lower.

Important thing to do, check their websites to see in which stores they have the watch you seek in stock. On Chrono24 you can only see the location of the main store, but many watches are in different locations. Many of these stores have many locations in Tokyo and Osaka and even more in the rest of Japan. Enjoy the watch shopping :)

Hi,
Thanks to all for the information. In the next month my travels will also take me to Tokyo.

In looking for a used watch are there any noteworthy stores?

Thanks.

Watchnian and Allu look amazing. But then again, it's Japan. Attention to every detail. Got to love them!

Go to Nakano Broadway. A gazillion shops under one roof.

Hi guys, I live in Tokyo. If you are going to be visiting and would like to meet up for a beer or go look at watches (or both) shoot me a DM.

Plenty in Nakano Broadway. I’d also vouch for Kame-kichi. There’s also a small shop called Renzu but I see they don’t have any Daytonas in stock presently.
Around Yurakucho, Ginza Raisin is also a shop I’ve bought from previously. Currently, the cheaper end will be ¥3,800,000 for a black dial 116500 going up to ¥4,900,000 for a white dial plus you’d get 10% tax off I’d imagine plus they usually have some other offer going regarding points etc. Although I’d note that the 116500LN is massively popular here and prices rarely fall below US. That said, the yen is super weak right now so hopefully you can get a decent price.

For me, buying experiences have been varied, even at Rolex ADs here. All friendly but after all, it’s a transaction. I don’t put too much stock in the “experience” but the Japanese stores are perfect for browsing and trying on. Jack Road shop in the Broadway do very well with this.

Went to Tokyo in June to Nakano Broadway. Slightly better than the states primarily due to favorable exchange rate and tax savings. Seemed like the best deals were for PM pieces, I.E. Rootbeer, PM sub, etc...

i wouldn't personally buy used high end watches in Ginza... Super nice shop for browsing (exceptional choices), but i find the prices are higher there, catering to Mainland tourists.
I second Kame-kichi : Jackroad was good 5-10 years ago , but they are very popular now and it reflects in their pricing. Maybe Hankman can give you an better updated idea on the pricing.

Oh, and last time i was there (earlier this year) i found that the prices of Daytona were ridiculous, probably the worst model if you were looking to score a bargain.

I'm in Tokyo right now and I have been to Nakano Broadway yesterday. I don't have photos but as far as I remember tax free prices for used 116500LNs panda were in the 26k-27k euros range whereas black dial models were in the 24k - 25k euros range. I plan on going back in the next few days and I will take a few photos of Daytonas and other models as well.
