Seeking advice/opinion
Hi everyone,
I would like to get an AP and I narrowed down my choices to two models. I appreciate if you shared your opinion and let me know which one you think has a better after market. Cheers |

Personally I’d choose the blue dial over the safari and wouldn’t be worried about resale/future value on either of those two. Neither is hyped, sought after, rare, etc…Offshore models.
In this choice, get the one that you’ll enjoy looking at the most when it’s on your wrist….that’d be my personal advice. YMMV |

I’d pick blue because I don’t really like the safari, Thad just me though. As states above, neither will have great resale.

I'd also go for Blue - the safari colourway is quite distinct and may not pair as well with your outfits each day.
Having said that, you must have a preference for one over the other, don't listen to us. Value wise I think you're buying at the right time |

I'm going to go against the crowd here.
I never liked the orange touch on the blue dial of this specific ROO while I feel the Safari is Iconic. For starter it has a nickname... |

Going against the herd.
Safari for me by a mile!. It looks a bit more classic and sophisticated and basically can be paired with almost anything... This blue version of the ROO is almost the worst of all worlds IMO. Blue dial but not a classic. Not sporty enough vs the new ROOs. Not dress-down enough with the screaming orange accents. Won't go with too many different color combos. No quick change strap so why not go with a higher quality strap... Just meh in my opinion |

Blue. It looks more modern of the two.

I love the safari. One of the best offshores AP ever made.

I like the safari cream dial. In person it is such a calm soothing appearance with AP pedigree.

I prefer Safari, but the OG one, or even more the OG Panda.

That Safari happens to be my favorite. The original, all white, is simply so boring.

I would take the safari
I saw one in person years ago and it’s so much better than pictures (but that’s the case with most APs) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
