AP Black Ceramic Openwork
Can anyone please help me with sizing my new AP Black Ceramic Openwork. The watch doesn't have traditional screws and I have NO idea how to remove links from the watch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Take it to an AP boutique or a reputable watch maker.

According to AP, the ceramic bracelets needs specific tools. I would not experiment with that myself.

If you're brave enough:
Bergeon 7230 Watch Bracelet Pin Remover + the 1mm pin head. It's a sleeve and pin mechanism. Similar to the nautiluses. But as advised from another poster, bring it to AP unlesss you're handy with these tools |

I would also say....since the links are ceramic....the cost of error is not simply a scratch in the steel bracelet. It is likely a cracked link.

Great problem to have
Don't do it yourself. Take it to the most interesting city with AP boutique in it. If you can afford bc ow you can fly you there too |

I love it. And it’s my #1 most worn piece for sure. It’s definitely a “you know if you know” piece. I actually wore it a few times on my last trip to Europe because the ceramic royal oak bezel is camouflaged with the black ceramic case. So unless your very very close you can’t tell it’s an AP |

You can't. Boutique sent me mine last year but forgot to size it so I have yet to wear it. Been almost a year now.

Do not try. Needs to be done at an AP boutique with in-house AP service. Even in the AP boutique there are very few people who are even qualified to do it, because of the fear of cracking the pins or the link. Don't know how grey market dealers manage this successfully... I'm not taking responsibility for anything being broken, but have done it on a 26240CE, and it is the exact same as sizing a nautilus. |

Option 1: Take hammer, gently crack open each link, then scotch tape (or duct tape) back together.
Option 2: Take into store |

That's a whole different ball of wax all together.

Wonder what it is now. Mine was $144k pre tax in 2021 which I think is fair for the piece. 180k implies it’s more than tourb pricing which wasn’t the case 2-3 years ago Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
