Independent Watch Service in/near San Antonio, TX
Hi gents. I have an older no date Sub that is running fast and needs a movement service. I want to take it to a qualified independent watch maker with a Rolex parts account for service. Any recommendations? Also appreciate any tips on searching for high-quality independent watchmakers by location.

Depends on your definition of near is, but David Gardners in College Station has an in house watch maker that I trust.

I've always sent mine to Rik Dietel for service. However, I had a dial swap done on my DD OQ at Austin Classic Watch and Jewelry. They were recommended by the person I bought the bezel from. I met the owner without calling ahead and he just happened to be wearing a 17000 OQ when I walked in, so I figured it was in good hands. I do not know if he has a parts account, or not now.
