As some may remember, the bracelet on my 124060 broke a couple of weeks ago. It is now at the RSC for the repair under warranty.

I had been looking at the Tudor Pelagos 39 for a while so I decided to pull the trigger. The transaction with Takyua was flawless, and I it was on my wrist in 2 days.

I really like this reference. It wears great and after 2 weeks is running about 1second/day fast (possibly my most accurate watch). I like the light weight and the T clasp is solid.

This will probably serve as my GADA watch and I am looking forward to wearing it a lot. I’m not going to baby it, and we’ll see how she holds up.

So far, my only complaint is the lume on the hands really is pretty weak. It is somewhat difficult to read if I wake up in the middle of the night. No super big deal, but I think Tudor could have done better.

It won’t replace my 124060, but I definitely think this watch can fill a spot in my wearing routine.

Couldn’t agree more. I really enjoy mine. Definitely a GADA watch! Love the look, feel and weight. I have also noticed the weaker lume on the hands - but I can live with it.

Great watch!! The lume issue with this reference is interesting to me. I do not think by chance. So why would Tudor decide to provide weaker luminosity on this variant of the Pelagos? For a slightly dressier Pelagos maybe?

Yes the weight has been a pleasant surprise. I was worried that it would be so light it would feel flimsy. However, after wearing it a couple of weeks, I feel like it is a perfect weight for a daily.

Thanks Dan. I feel that 40mm is a sweet spot for my 6.75 in wrist. That’s what brought me to the 39. I am very pleased with my first Tudor purchase so far.

Looks amazing - I'm thinking about one myself.

Some folk have been mentioning a sharp edge on the adjustable clasp. Complaint seems to be if you wear it with the T-Fit In, so the clasp cantilevers outward, raising the edge. BUT, some newer purchasers don't seem to have the same complaint. Do you have a sharp edge that is noticeable, either because it isn't sharp or it doesnt' matter because of how you wear it?

Really looks great!

Really looks great!

The only sharp edge I have noticed is the Tudor emblem on the safety clasp. Now I grab it from the side to open it.

That is great. I am glad to hear you do not feel it is too close to the Sub to add to the collection. I am trying to decide between the P39 or the FXD at present.
