Nice shots, Roger. Personally, though, I tend to go for a somewhat more comprehensive approach:

Hell, putting those combinations together is enough reason for dragging my arse out of bed every morning.

I'm not happy with the lighting in those photos. In particular, the Datejust photo doesn't properly show the gunmetal grey colour of the pen. I set it up properly this weekend and take some better shots.

Hey James,

As lame as this may sound, having viewed those combos you've posted, is your surname Bond?

Sadly, JJ, no. It would be the Asian equivalent of Smith or Jones.

Nice suits there James. Love the red tie in the first one. Do it detect some Brioni or Hermes?

Nightmare's more like it, Otis!

Brioni? I wish! My boss has six Brioni suits and a stack of their ties. The closest I've come to that is the Hugo Boss suit in the Sea Dweller photo - otherwise I've just had to search for stuff that looks a lot more expensive that it actually is. That said, it's part of the fun - when the going gets tough, the tough go shopping.

Thanks, Paulie! Call it vanity, but one rule I set for myself when I started out was to look as fresh walking out the door at ten at night as I did walking in at eight in the morning. Getting a proper set of suits helped, and the Rollies add that nice finishing touch.

The problem is that this has not esacped my evil colleagues, who have implemented casual Fridays - anybody who's not seeing a client and turns up in a suit chucks a fiver in the booze jar. I've turned it into a game, though - most Fridays I go in with the dressiest casual I can dig up from my wardrobe.
