Another UK AD terminated

CH Moody in Nantwich have announced on their instagram that after 40 years as an AD, Rolex are terminating their agency at the end of the year.

This is a small local AD where I managed to get a watch from when the likes of WoS were messing me about. Sad to see, but unsurprising given the business model Rolex are moving towards.

That’s sad to hear. Always had a great experience with DMR in Canary Wharf. I’m hoping that DMR as a whole maintains their Rolex status. Given they moved into a new site several times the size in CW I would be surprised if they lost it but you never know.

They’ve moved their Rolex accounts over to the larger DMR Manchester and Liverpool branches. I had a very good experience collecting from Manchester recently.

Their post made me sad

They were dignified about it but it must really hurt
A 140 year old company losing a 40 year old account

I wish them well

I have never in my life heard of Nantwich and I am from the NW.

Forever remembered now as the place that formally had a Rolex AD.

I second DMR as being a good AD.

I owe you an ale for that outrageous error.

See you in Nantwich.
