which one next
Ok - so I went in to my AD here in Perth Australia to look at and try the Platinum and SS Yacht Master - I have a Sub and want to add another Rolex to my collection soon - I HAVE THE BUG!!!
... I was pretty sure it was going to be the YM .....BUT then strangely I was drawn to the Milgauss - the black dial then the white.... so I spent some time putting on the YM then Milgauss - then both - then again and again and ... you get the picture - I have to say I had to leave confused! So - I have rightly given myself time to sit with this new thought and am now thinking that the Milgauss may be the next Rolex. I have really enjoyed reading through the stuff on this forum - it must be said your passion for watches and Rolex is infectious - so I wanted to ask you: what are your thoughts and experiences of this watch?? The YM is still there in my heart - very much so - but that may be in the future - Cheers Dalip |

Welcome to the Forum..
I have never been a Yachtmaster fan, so for me, the choice is easy.. and I think that all the Milgauss models are killer..... However, my rule is... 'The next Rolex to get is the one you don't have...' That makes it much easier........

If you already have a sub, I'd go with a white dial Mil for variety. That being said, go with the one that sings to you the most.

Welcome Dalip.
I may not be any help to you as I am certainly biased towards the ss/platinum Yacht Master.

Ym
i also like the YMs and am not drawn to the milgauss, i like rotating bezels and a date feature and am not a fan of "gimmicky" things like lightning bolt shaped second hands. just my 2 cents.

apologies for the pic: taken with my iphone:
well.... after much deliberation: which included looking at the white faced explorer II - (and thanks to you for advice) - this is now very happily on my wrist - and makes a great companion to the Sub ... even my wife agrees :001_smile:: oh - and the YM is def on the list for the future.... |

well - just want to say thanks for the advice/responses - spent another long while at my AD today.... decided the YM SS will be a later purchase - also enjoyed trying on the Explorer II white - nice watch also. But when all said and done the Milgauss was what made my heart beat the most and I knew it was the one for now. So, in quite a short space of time I have picked up a Sub SSD and now ... - apologies for the photo - taken quickly with my iphone...
