Warranty work done with card in another name
Just thought I would let you guys know about how Rolex handled a warranty I just sent in. I have a Sub that I bought from a member of this forum. He had it for a couple of months and then sold it to me. The warranty card was in his name. The watch was running 9 to 10 seconds fast per day. I went to Ben Bridges and they would not send it in for me since the warranty was not in my name. I went to a local jeweler who used to be a Rolex AD but just discontinued a couple of months ago. They gladly sent it in for me with the warranty card even though it is in the original purchasers name. They just packed it up, put the card in with the watch and mailed it off with some other watches.
The watch was serviced, I got my green pouch and Rolex cloth. The watch runs fast around 2 seconds or less now. My GMT runs around 2 seconds slow per day. So I can wear one on each wrist and I always know the time.

They seem to be pretty good about that recently :) Glad your watch is home and you are happy. Bob, by any chance are you or were you a Chiropractor?

I am glad it worked put for you. Same situation with me a few years ago. I sent the watch directly to the NY RSC with the warranty paperwork. No questions asked.

That's good news, everything just worked out for you! Do you mind posting the name and address of that local jeweler? I might in need of them in the future or some locals here might be interested also.
Thanks |

3301 East Main St Suite 1337 Ventura CA 93003 They have two stores, one in Ventura and one in Camarillo. The store in Camarillo still had some new Rolexes as of a few weeks ago, that I understand they are willing to negotiate on.
