16618 or 116718??
I've recently made the decision to sell 3 of my SS Rolexes in and get a gold Rolex (second hand). I've had my heart set on the 16618 black face...I would like the newer 116618 but budget won't stretch that far. The other day though the i saw the gold GMTC 116718 and now aren't sure what to get...help!!
To get the GMT the budget would have to be stretched but I'll be picking up a newer model with Maxi dial, improved clasp, bigger case, etc. The sub is very nice and will be able to pick one up a lot cheaper......so what to do? spend the extra cash and get the new more modern GMT or just get the sub and save the money (and possible keep one of my SS rolexes). I know you'll think get the one you like but wondering on your opinion. Cheers Mike |

if YG is what you want, get a DD or DD II.
With President bracelet of course! Sorry, but for solid Gold I´d suggest THAT route! Hermann |

The black faced gold Sub is stunning. I think I'd pony up and buy the new black Sub, or possibly go the other way and get a nice vintage with the nipple dial.
