Rolex Watchwinder
Had my first perusal of one in the flesh on Saturday> Dealer had only got it in the afternoon before and was the first one they had, and lucky me was the first member of the public to have a look at it.
Lays on its side with a green glass door with green leather with rolex embossed on it many times all the way around, finished of at the edges with white stitching. Only runs from battery power and has no mains input, the idea is you stack the cubes as you increase your collection. Price was £490, and was not worth that by a long shot. Incase you want to know about the new Omega watch winder, identical to the Rolex one, but brown leather and no glass door but from the same manufacturer - and its not rolex! No photos as not the kind of person to do that in a shop

Unlike the precision mechanism in a Rolex, doesn't the winder simply mimick movement to wind it? I can't see how it could possible be worth it...

It looks ok but battery only would be a pain.
Mains operation with a built in rechargeable battery pack for when you need to pop it in the safe would be a minimum requirement for those $$'s. C'mon Rolex, step up here matey.

Here's one of mine, winds 4, displays 6. Mains and battery operated.
I have had it for 2.5 years running ok 24/7. Sells for Aus$485.00.
