What a great way to start the new year, my first AP is here!

I received a text out of the blue this afternoon that a watch I'd asked for in July of last year just arrived. Told my SA I'd like to see it in person before committing since I've only handled the blue and green ones in person.

I'm now a believer that the online photos really don't do this watch any justice. There are so many interesting details of this watch... the sculpted lugs, the way the colour gradients on the dial, the fact it doesn't have those weird roman numerals like the initial Codes, the ceramic middle case. It's all so cool and works together really well.

The funniest part is when I showed my wife photos of the watch after I got the text, she goes "Ew no why would you buy that watch?" Then when we went to see it in person I swear her first words were "Wow that's pretty... ok get it"

Just a quick wrist shot for now while trying it on at the boutique. I'm picking it up tomorrow since I had a bunch of errands to run and didn't want carry it around with me everywhere.

Congrats! Looks good on your wrist. Why not buy it and wear it home?

Thanks, I was already wearing my Lange... but I will go tomorrow without a watch so that I can wear it out of the boutique.

Personally I love the CODE line. Just not the Gen 1 that comes with the flat colour dial.

That looks very good.
I just agree with everything that you said : better hours markers, awesome dial and better hands than the original code 3 hands. This is perfection for me. And better than the blue or Green IMO.
Therefore I am just waiting for the same exact watch since a couple months already.
Enjoy :-)

haha thanks, I can understand the Code isn't everyone's cup of tea but I usually find it best to just ignore troll posts like that.
