No date submariner 14060M
Am looking at a 2001 no date sub 14060M with Caliber 3031. There is some play in the minute hand - is that normal? In addition, the bracelets back then were not meant for small wrists and it can’t be re-sized to fit me. Are there acceptable after market straps or bracelets?

What does “some play” in the minute hand mean? Could be the watch is damaged and needs service, or it could be normal functioning.
If your wrist is so small that at zero links it’s still too big, perhaps a 39mm mens divers watch is too large? Even so if you use google, there are a million strap/bracelet options, the submariner is basically the most popular luxury watch ever. |

I have a 2004 14060M and can't say I have any play in the minute hand.
As for straps, I bought a Rubber B "Dream Strap" for mine. I have a smaller wrist and the pin buckle and plenty of sizing holes on that strap made it perfect for me when I'm not wearing the watch on a bracelet. |

The watch is a “rolex certified pre-owned” at an ad, so they said it was serviced by rolex. The play in the minute hand is just a little, like it is slightly loose, like when you set the date I can feel and see it is slightly loose.

Facts are off. It would be movement 3130 for an M. Post pictures if you want guidance.
