Wanting to buy Mom this Rolex 6420. Advice?
Hello!
I'm thinking of purchasing this Rolex 6420 for my Mom. It appears that everything seems good from a quick glance, but I've never seen this configuration on the Speedking, so wondering if the dial was potentially redone in the past. Thanks all! |

Based on the one photo I’m not seeing any obvious problems with the printing. Is the serial from the early 60s?
It’s always best to post a clear straight on photo if you have it.

Looks original to me too.

Couldn't tell you based on a pic, but that looks super classy. Nice watch.

Since it says precision on the dial I assume it is hand wound? Could that be a problem for you (or your Mom)?

Yep! It is handwound. It didn't seem like it was a problem with her, she just wanted something from this era that was a smaller size and did not have radium lume.
