How much more would you pay?

Looking to get a birth year sub. How much more would you pay for watch that was made in that particular year.

Nothing more than the watch is worth. Really a “birth year” watch is just an excuse to buy another watch, which is fine I guess. What year Sub are you shopping for?

Its only worth more to you because it is your birth year. For other potential buyers, it is just another sub

I agree with Dan. I would never pay a premium for any birth year watch. It's a fad perpetuated by dealers.

I wouldn’t pay anything extra for a birth year it’s not as if you are buying something more exclusive it’s just a way of extracting more money from you

I'll say nothing more, I would still ask for a discount.
Unless you find your birth year with with you initials and your same birth date engraved on the watch, then I'll start to think about...

I'd pay an absolute fortune 'cos no subs were available.... it would be a priceless prototype !!

I find the birth years watch fad to be for less experienced collectors who are looking for an excuse to buy a watch.
