16202ST vs. 15510ST blue?

It looks to me that the 15510ST/26240ST blue is more striking than the 16202ST blue with the petite tapiserie?

I've never seen the 16202ST blue in person, but the blue of this piece is more matte and not showing various blue shades under various lighting conditions?

You should really try to get to see a Jumbo in person. The blue seems indeed a tad more subdued, but the perfect proportions make it so much more attractive than both 41mm versions which at least to me are just a bit to massive, and particularly the 15510 has too much empty space on the dial.

And don’t worry, the new PVD coating on the 16202 has plenty of shades and nuances of the magical bleu nuit nuage 50.

Here's photo of 16202 but unless side-by-side in real life, it's hard to very accurately compare to 15202... In regular room lighting, I'd say the 16202 is more of a flat navy, it's not crazy dynamic. I actually like the black dial (41 photo also attached) better but prefer the 39 bracelet and case most of the time...

I don't have a blue dial 15510 or 26240, but do own a 16202st, 15500st(black), and owned a 26331or(blue). I can't compare the 16202 blue against a 15510 blue, there is nothing flat about the 16202st dial. I find the petite tapisserie much more dynamic in the sunlight than my 26331 or 15500 with the grand tapisserie.

Thanks for your feedback. I can't wait until the way I get to own this historic piece!

Nice Black 15500ST. I love my black 15510ST as well. So stunning. Thanks for sharing your 2 cents on the blue dial.

I thought the 5402, 16202, 15510, and any other reference noted as having a "Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50" dial is the same color/shade of blue. is this not the case?

I don't own it but I fell in love with the 16202 immediately I saw it. I'd always loved blue dials and this is an absolute work of perfection IMO.

Dont worry about the subtle nuances of the dial colors and add a Jumbo. I have a 15202BC and the proportions are perfect.

It's a strange tradeoff, if my past experience still holds true. Please note this will be 15202st vs 15500st compared on a darkish London day.

When seeing both side by side, I felt the shape of the 15202 was fantastic, but the dial was slightly disappointing, the tapisserie is quite small, much more so than the standard RO. It looks great on your instagram feed, but it looks somewhat flat in person. But again the shape and fit is great. Have both?

16202’s dial is madness. You can see a dozen shades of blue, green, black on this one shot. They all danced around on the wrist under different lights.

Do you own another blue in other references in your collection?

How would you say this blue 16202 compared to, let's say, 15510/15500/26240 blue?

That's stunning. Congratulations on owning this historical piece!

jumbo is my one-and-done AP. I like many of them, but they don’t like my flat wrist.

16202 vs 15500, hard to tell differences in photo, but it does look differently in person.
