Oyster Perpetual Date X serial - Orginal Box?

Hey Guys-

Just purchased a Oyster Perpetual Date, but it did not come with any box or tags. I was wondering if someone on the forum could help me identify what the original box looked like for the watch. I am hoping to pick up a box on the forum or through ebay.

1991
Oyster Perpetual Date 15210
X Serial

Pictures or any information would be great thanks!

It is likely that if you go the e-bay route, you will get a fake box..

go to Qualitytyme.net and read which box is a likely candidate and get one there..

I have a gold/stainless datejust with serial # beginning with X. I purchased mine new in 1992 or 1993. It came with a green Rolex box. the top has the gold Rolex crown imprinted in lower right hand corner. the bottom has this stamped on it:

SWISS MADE
12.00.71.

There are two gold bands that wrap three sides of the box (sides and front) One band is on the top of the box, the other on the base - they are near each other when the box is closed.

box dimensions are approx. 5" wide x 4" deep x 2" tall.

the contents include a green foam 'pillow' that fits snugly inside the box (for the watch to envelop), a cleaning cloth, a burgundy 'official certified swiss chronometer' tag, and a green Rolex Oyster tag with the serial number.

hope this helps
