teaser pics of my 328 and mini review.
ok so in the past i have had a pam 112 pam279 (full ti on a bracelet) and now this pam, the all new 328 with 1950's case and inhouse mov.. please excuse the pictures once again because i am at work but wanted to give yall a little something to hold you over. at first i didnt like the new style bracelet and still prefer the older style as i feel they put more into making it than this one. but certain things are better about the new style bracelet as apposed to the older style. Pro's, it has all threaded screws instead of those cheap push pins panerai used to use on the older style bracelets... it also has 2 half links as apposed to one half link the older style bracelet had, so on this new style bracelet i am able to get a much better over all fit.. Con's , i like the older link as it was one off. Also the older style bracelet is much much eaiser to strap change as this new style bracelet has two SEL links that fall off the main bracelet which makes it a pain in the neck when trying to do a quick strap change... what were you thinking panerai!! 1950's case. what can i say? it is better in every way, i love the look of it. more sharp curves and better shape i think. i also love the sandwich dial. the printing on the dial itself "panerai luminor marina" is done in a cream off white to give it a more vintage look as apposed to the standard white print they usally use. The three day power reserve actually lasts 3 1/2 days which is great. the rotor spin is softer with the new inhouse mov as the ETA was louder and you could feel it when you move your wrist. i love the 1950's crown gaurd, love the back showing off the new heart to this beast! all in all i am happy with the outcome. it is very heavey but feels substantial on the wrist. any questions feel free to ask! |

Can you put a leather strap on it so it is identical to a 312?
