Bi-metal Submariner: Black or Blue
I am unusual. I prefer TT watches to SS
I just tried on the submariner and sea dweller TT. Both lovely but I think the submariner will be a more comfortable wear for me daily. Black or blue, I love both, what do you think ? Donations and I will buy both :) m126613lb-0002.jpg m126613ln-0002.jpg |

For the TT it has to be the Bluesy.

I prefer the blue fairy strongly. That’s not to say the black isn’t nice, but something about that blue and gold is just right in my opinion.

I want to like the black more. On paper it makes so much sense and it does look better in person than in photos. But the blue bezel is hard to beat.

Black for me. I find the blue ‘too in your face’.
I originally went into my AD with the intention of buying the blue and after comparing the 2, I walked out with the black. I don’t regret that decision at all. As for donations, Im with Fagin.

Black, 16613. I also love the 5 digit blue bezel with the silver serti dial.

Bluesy is an icon. But i think it is a little dated.
Gives me 90's South Beach drug dealer vibes. Perfect with a thick cuban link chain. Or the "builder done good" look, which is exactly why my father in law has one! The black and gold looks a little more modern for me. Root Beer even more so. |

Not a fan of either; shocked Padi likes any TT. Had a CHNR for a bit, not my style.

Two tone blue dial Sub is stunning. The black is nice, too. But I definitely prefer the blue.

Sunburst dial is fantastic, but black against gold is the better combo, I take that in TT.

Not unusual at all. I too love the TT watches. I am currently waiting on the TT GMT (Guinness).
I love the look of black/gold, but my brother has the blue TT and that piece is beautiful in person - the pics don't do it justice. Can't go wrong with either. Try them both on and see which one speaks to you. |

For me, I like the blue but love the black. When turning 50 this is what called to me. Get what you love and enjoy this journey |

I prefer the black, but I think the blue is far more popular.

Prefer the Bluesy. I own one and it’s beautiful. I tried on the black and it was very nice but I have my Sub that is black. I voted for blue which is my preference with TT but get black if you have another watch that is blue.

I own a bluesy and it’s stunning , there’s no comparison to the black version … but let’s be honest only your opinion matters ..

Here's a third option. The GMT GRNR. I own both the bluesy and the GRNR. I much prefer the jubilee bracelet over the oyster as the PCL's are just scratch magnets. Don't even see any scratches on the jubilee. Although I like both, for different reasons, the GRNR with the jubilee is just breath taking in person.
However, as others have stated, try them all on and get the one that speaks to you the most. You really shouldn't listen to what we like, only to what you like. |

If you want a little bit of flash, go black… If you want a lot of flash, go blue… Like Padi, I’m not a fan of two-tone watches… That being said, I’d have to go with the blue, move to the Caribbean, and spend the rest of my life drinking mojitos and getting skin cancer.
