116505 Chocolate Arabic dial

I am fascinated with the now discontinued rose gold Daytona brown dial with Arabic numbering. I understand the later brown dial stole the show due to better legibility, but those golden subdials and the brown really sparkle.

Any owners or fellow fans on forum? I predict a comeback :)

I had one on the alligator strap.

Beautiful watch but legibility is terrible.

New vs old…. Both they don’t win much legibility awards
(Unless in broad daylight like on this picture)

Bumping this thread. I got my eye on this model without the ceramic bezel but just wondering what people's thoughts were? The Baton Choc dial does look cleaner but is also way more expensive. The Arabic dial still looks good in my opinion but thoughts anyone?

It definitely fits well on the Daytona. I especially like the actual Arabic dial for the platinum Daytona

Edit - why are these called Arabic dials come to think of it?
