"Too much green", they said -> Nah. Rolex should re-introduce this model...

...but they most likely won't.

One of my favorites! Not the most comfortable to wear (in my opinion) but it looks just so good.

That’s why I sold mine, a bit too chunky for me.

A Sub being described as uncomfortable is a new one to me. I have average 7.25 inch wrist and it’s THE most comfortable watch I have. This “comfort” thing needs more discussion because I find it very amusing and it’s bandied about here often.

If @derlink normally wears a 36mm dress watch on a nubuck strap, the "uncomfortable" comment has some meaning. If not, I don't understand it either.

Hulk will be always be special for simple reason. Submariner is the most popular Rolex watch and in entire Rolex history, colored dial in SS was done for Hulk! That'll always remain unique!

The 116610LV "Hulk" is and always will be unique. Even if Rolex were to roll back the size to 40mm (possible), discontinue the AR coating (highly unlikely) and reintroduce the green sunburst dial (quite possibly at some stage) they won't be using the silky smooth, silent 3135 movement. This puts the 11 series LV in a niche all of its own and it's not the first Rolex to have such a status, it's predecessor being a case in point.

Absolutely love mine. Green is a great color and is the official color of Rolex. I was surprised when they discontinued it. I would love to see them come out with a newer version.

I’d love for the Hulk or the Smurf to return. I really want a blue or green diver and would rather that not be a Blackbay 58 or a Seamaster

No quite the opposite, it is like a Starbucks most of the time, unless out in the sun or bright lights, which is sadly not that often in UK.

1. Go out in the rain and natural light only
2. Capture image using Panasonic GX8 (old mFT-camera from 2015) and cheap lens 14-42mm f3.5-5.6
3. Adjust RAW parameters inside camera menu (one of the best features in this old camera)
4. Export

A lean workflow.

For most people, who buy one watch and wear it all the time, it probably is too much green. The gold with green bezel and dial looks fantastic, though.

A new hulk in the 126610 case would be perfect. I’d eventually get one if they did it!
