To switch to 7030/703 tube & crown or leave original

Hello,

I'll be having my '80 Snowflake in for service and will need to decide if I want to reuse the 7020/702 tube and crown, assuming it passes a pressure/vacuum test and is still useable...if not, I'll have to decide if I want to purchase NOS 7020/702 ($$$) or go with the newer and more affordable 7030/703 tube and crown.

With that, if I do need to replace these parts, and I'm not worried about potential re-sale of the watch, is going with the latter style tube and crown a no brainer? Seems like it's just a "how much do you want to spend" sort of thing.

Leave original so long as it functions properly. 702 systems are getting harder to find.

I am. The original passed 702 tube/crown just passed 100m of water resistance. Remarkable.
