Owned the Yachtmaster 40mm if that's the one you are talking about. Buying the new Sub next week. Do you prefer blue lume or green? Do you prefer metal bezel or ceramic? Do you prefer Glidelock or the traditional safety lock? I think those are the deciding factors.

If you are a member of ACHOO (American Clown and Horse Ogling Organization) you have no choice but to go with the YMII...however...if you are more active in and a member of SHIFTY (Scuba and Horse Inspecting For The Yahoos) you gotta nail down the Sub.
It's all about clubs, dues and membership.

The YMII is a stunning watch in person. It honestly is useless and a waste unless you are big into yacht racing... It has no practical use. Unless you have silly money and can afford both Id going with the Sub just much more practical.

If choosing YG, I'd pick the YMII. Personally, I'd go for the WG Sub over either.

I would have to say sub. Go with your gut feeling. Your the one that's going to be wearing it. You can always trade up. Cannot wait to see it!
