What would cause this spacing

Do you know what would cause more spacing on the left end link where it attaches on side of the lug vs the right side ?
Despite the photo, the end link is sitting flush there is just more of a gap on one side and I wanted to know why. I am ocd, I know.

Thank you

Can you confirm if they’re hollow end links?

Maybe just needs to be reinstalled or a bent spring bar. Both of these are guesses.

OP, what you are feeling now is called curiosity. It’s not an obsession or a compulsion or a disorder.

I attached a better photo showing the space. It’s as if the end link is a tad too short. What do you think ?

Is the space not supposed to be divided in 2/even each side, and if it was, would be less prominent. Try moveing the centre link over.
Also, the numerous polish jobs that watch has had have taken the shoudlers off the lugs and rounded them over a bit which will be adding to the effect.

Would replacing the end link entirely ultimately solve the spacing issue ?

Maybe, but that would be an expensive fix for something that isn't an issue imo

Try swapping the bracelets between the two watches and see if the gap follows the bracelet or stays with the case.

I had this issue on another watch and solved it by replacing the spring bars. I think the day date uses precious metal spring bars that match. You could try a stainless spring bar to rest if it’s solves the problem, but wouldn’t leave it in there.

It's a spring bar issue. You get a bit lose fit when they get worn.

LOL... The end link slides on the spring bar. If there is more space on one side than the other, move it over - it's not welded in place.

Yup! Also, you need a little space, or you couldn’t fit the end link between the lugs. Stop obsessing over the minutiae of our shared hobby. seriously, after looking at your other pic and my own Rolex DJ, on my wrist, see if you can get new OEM Spring bars, from RSC.
