Regular servicing -- do they come back shiny?
I picked up my first ding on my new 48, and yeah, it's one of those moments where you're like, it's bound to happen, but oh, the pain.
Now, with my Rolex I don't worry so much because I hear Rolexes come back from regular service looking essentially brand new. Is this also the case with Panerais sent to the company for regular service? It would make me feel better about all those little dings that are bound to happen when you wear a prominent watch on your wrist! |

They probably polish them and bring them back to like new condition. Although I have not sent mine in yet, I hear Breitling will bring watches back to new condition when you send your watch in for full service.

Yes Panerai does, I sent my 88 in March and I was amazed how nice it came back!! I had numerous small scratches and swirls and they were all buffed out!!

I'm sure swirls and small scratches they can buff out. Can anyone clarify if they'll actually repair a ding or nick?
Thanks, Eric |
