Help verify DJ41
Hi All,
New to ROLEX brand and trying to purchase my first piece. Want to get the Datejust 41 Ref: 126334-0018 Found a guy selling through eBay with Authenticity Guaranteed, but wanted to save myself from frustration.. Watch comes with Guarantee Card... Serial starts with Z6 but sales date is 03.17.2021 From my research "Z" serials are from 2006-2007 production dates.. I cant post links here given I am new.. but your THOUGHTS are appreciated. |

All newer serials are scrambled meaning you can’t verify production dates from them any longer. This started in 09

Many thanks for your quick reply. That makes me feel a bit relieved.
I was concerned.. Any idea what does it cost to polish up a watch ? has a few scratches from daily wear. Tx |

Not sure about taking it somewhere for a polish, I would imagine that could vary quite a bit. LA Watchworks or Rolliworks seem to be the more trusted in this field that I’m sure could better answer.

Assuming nothing else is needed and the movement is running fine, Rolex guidelines is that an AD can refinish a watch once between services. The price of that is $250 USD for standard models, or $350 for a professional model.

Why don’t you post some photos and any info. I have seen things on eBay that have been questionable.
You can do it even though you don’t have many posts |

Always buy the Seller. If at least several hundred transactions and 100% positive feedback rating, plus the eBay verification process, you should be fine. Good luck! A Datejust can be pretty easy to get from an AD. You may want to consider trying. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

OP: I believe the "Rolex Boutique" sellers on this forum site are trustworthy, so take a look at their watches and compare with your e-Bay deal and/or seek their advice.
