Tudor 925 silver cleaning advice

Starting to get a light golden patina on the lugs after 2 yrs. Aside from using silver polish what may work best?

I say enjoy the light golden patina. I have the same watch and am interested to see how far it goes.

I find that interesting. I'd like to own one just to see how the Rolex silver alloy evolves. Presumably, it won't tarnish.

I cleaned mine with a cotton bud and some silver dip
Then rinced with loads of water
.do not use polish it removes metal , I do not like tarnish

Those magic erasers are indispensable at our house, the stuff they remove is incredible

Silver is quite a resilient metal but just like gold can tarnish but easy to clean with silver polish but only when needed.Just look at all the silver metal stuff thats still around today many hundreds of years old.

It tarnishes. Mine was tarnished when I bought it just from sitting in the case. I used a magic eraser and removed the tarnish and now am watching it tarnish again. At some point I’ll probably remove it again, but it doesn’t really bother me/I kind of like it.

I can remove that with a magic eraser. Only problem is some of those spots are kind of hard to get to. It’s not that big of a deal though as it’s hard to notice on the wrist. I’m getting a vanguard strap to better fill the space between the lugs.

But yes the watch definitely tarnishes! Kind of neat actually, but some will hate it.

I have the same on mine- also 2 years now. I just leave it alone, I like. But, some Tarnex on a q-tip would probably do the trick.

Here's a few pics. Almost 2 years old, never polished. Mostly sits in a drawer. I like the tarnish on the case but kinda clashes with the clean, crisp look of the dial and bezel.

Thanks for confirming it does tarnish, in spite of what Rolex were saying when they released it. Still looks great to me, judging from pictures in this thread.
