Lady Datejust
Hello everyone I have a question..could someone help me out and tell me if a 2001 lady Datejust 79174 26mm caliber 2235 is supposed to have quick set? I just purchased one for my wife online from diamond east international out of Florida and I while checking it over upon arrival I realized there was no quick set position when pulling the crown and setting the watch. Any information would be greatly appreciated 🙏 thank you.

Rolex calibre 2235 does indeed have a quickset function. Crown position 1 winds, position 2 quicksets the date, and position 3 sets the hands. If the date change on a 2235 is non-functioning, I would recommend a service.

If advertised as working well, send it back, and have them fix it. If a reputable dealer, they should do that for you. I once bought a Speedy from Govberg’s that arrived with a broken main spring. They repaired it, without a problem.
