Does this 1601 linen dial appear to be real? Seller will take $3100

Thanks. It sure looks like the price of rolexs has dropped significantly since last I checked. Nothing about this seems suspicious. Other than it seems scary sometimes buying off craigslist or marketplace or wherever. Thanks for the help.

It's probably this one on Craigslist just outside of Portland:

I think the title says it all...
"Seller will take $3100"

The question unasked is, will that be at the point of a gun?

If you buy it - do the deal in a police station - Portland, OR and Portland, ME both have SafeTrade deal sites at police stations. (In OR, it's a 20-min. drive to Oregon City Police Department).

By the way, the idea for SafeTrade originally came from a Milwaukee, Wis., police officer, Lisa Saffold. She first suggested it in 2012 in interviews after a series of robberies connected with transactions initiated on Craigslist.

It's just one blurry photo, but nothing is jumping out to make me think it's not legit. Condition-wise, note that the lume dots on the dial have turned VERY dark while the lume in the hands is bright white. I suspect that the bracelet has a fair amount of stretch, so you will need to see if it's wearable.

If it’s the one pictured above it’s real but looks tired

I'm sorry. I guess they didn't load properly. The one poster was right. It is that rolex he posted just outside of Portland.

Sorry. Unless I crop the photos to nothing I can't post them

Looks ok, tritium burn on HR markers but £2550 is cheap esp for one that's not on the ubiquitous 'non-aftermarket leather.'...even if its bit a tired US coffee bean bicolour (they are £375-450'ish alone) as they find themselves migrated to 1675/3 and bi colour thunderbird togs etc etc
