Buying a panerai from Firenze - Advice needed

Hi

I am looking to buy my first panerai a pam 111, is it possible to buy one from the boutique in florence and ship it to the uk? What charges are added also in terms of import duty?

I have a romantic idea of buying one fromn Italy

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Great choice on the 111 !!

From what I understand current MRSP and discounts in the UK are pretty good,so getting it from Ilalia may be much ado about nothing.

I'm not too sure if the boutique would send it over, although i'm sure you'd be able to get one somehow from Italy. There would be no import tax or VAT as it would be within the European Union so no taxing across borders. The one bad thing would be that i think the Euro price of a 111 is more than the £ price, which means you'd pay extra.

It might just be best to get one in the UK, they usually pop up now and again and at good prices, instead of paying £2900 you can pick them up for around £2300 secondhand.

I got mine a couple of months ago, no discount, the girl in the shop said that they could sell them all day long if they could get enough.

(Berrys Leeds by the way)

Wait till you can go buy one in Italy in person. If its coming through the mail does it really matter where it is from. Good luck with whatever you do though! Can't wait to see the pic
