TBH taking pictures on the wrist close up doesn't give you the right feel of size. I have a 6.5" ish wrist and find 36mm way too small. But when I take pictures of 36mm watches on my wrist they somehow look great and 41mm look huge.

Best way I found is to stand next to the mirror and look at your wrist from a side.

For your wrist I think you should go with 41 as it seems that you are also around 6.5" in your wrist dimensions.

39mm is the perfect size for that wrist size tho. Daytona fits me just better than any other watch I tried and it is actually 38.5mm (not sure why Rolex says 40).

I have a 6.75 inch wrist and the DJ 36 looks so much more refined on my wrist then the DJ 41.
